About the artist's studio:
Diane McGarel allows the viewer (or critic) to interpret the works in infinite possibilities without limitations.  Her mixed-media works evolve when she takes the digital image, changes it, by restructuring the image onto the canvas surrounding the image with torn and ripped paper, acrylic paints, sand, metal and various other media materials.  McGarel's digital works range from the abstraction to realism.
